Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Oracle Technical / PL/SQL Consultant to design, develop, enhance, and support Oracle-based applications and enterprise solutions. The consultant will work closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and integration teams to develop high-performance database solutions, technical interfaces, reports, and custom applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL programs, stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and database objects.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, views, indexes, and database structures for performance and scalability.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Oracle environments.
• Develop, customize, and support Oracle applications and ERP technical components.
• Design and develop interfaces, conversions, reports, extensions, and workflows for Oracle applications.
• Develop technical solutions integrating Oracle applications with external systems using APIs, web services, REST/SOAP, and middleware platforms.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent technical fixes.
• Perform database performance tuning using execution plans, indexing, SQL optimization, partitioning, and database profiling.
• Develop technical specifications, data mapping documents, interface designs, and deployment documentation.
• Support Oracle ERP/Fusion Cloud integrations and technical development activities.
• Work with Oracle functional consultants to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain Oracle Reports, XML Publisher/BI Publisher, and other reporting solutions.
• Support data migration, conversion, reconciliation, and validation activities during Oracle implementations and upgrades.
• Participate in unit testing, system integration testing, defect resolution, and production deployment activities.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Oracle development standards and best practices.
• Monitor application and database performance and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with integration, infrastructure, security, and application teams to resolve technical dependencies.
• Provide technical support for Oracle production environments and participate in release and deployment activities.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Oracle Technical Development / PL/SQL.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Experience developing stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, cursors, and complex SQL queries.
• Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, data modeling, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Experience with Oracle ERP, Oracle E-Business Suite, or Oracle Fusion Cloud environments.
• Experience developing and supporting interfaces, conversions, reports, and extensions.
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services and enterprise application integrations.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile methodologies, source control, testing, and deployment processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Technical Development.
• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher, XML Publisher, OTBI, and reporting technologies.
• Experience with Oracle APIs, FBDI, ADF, and application integration frameworks.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Experience with Oracle data migration and ETL tools.
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS modules such as Financials, SCM, Procurement, HCM, or Manufacturing.
• Experience supporting Oracle Cloud implementations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
• Oracle certifications are a plus.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
